It was fascinating to sit in a second century theater this morning! We are grateful to the Insight for Living team members who schlep the sound equipment from venue to venue!

In Jericho, the ancient columns, mosaics and stonework were beautiful.

This evening we all spent time on boats that were tethered together atop the Sea of Galilee. Chuck spoke about casting our bruises and burdens into the waters below. With small stones in hand to symbolize our heart-burdens, we cast them below the waters Jesus once walked on. Jesus tells us,
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:29-30)
